At Life Church we really value our community. We love gathering together on Sundays to worship together, but our mid-week meetings are where we look to go deeper into God’s Word, pray and support each other and build accountable friendships. Recognising our community is a gathered church from around the area, we’ve set up Discipleship Hubs in the main towns that we have represented; Hoddesdon, Ware (and Stanstead Abbotts), Cheshunt (and Wormley) and hope soon to include Hertford.

Why Discipleship Hubs?
Sundays services are so busy, we fly in, spend an hour and a half in worship and hearing God’s Word preached, grab a hot beverage with a biscuit (or two) while we chat to friends and then it’s over. It’s not long enough to build the kind of relationships we need as Christians living in a community. It’s not intimate enough to have conversations about what’s really going on, to listen to each other’s needs or what we’re struggling with. Our Discipleship Hubs look to fill the gap by creating a space to build each other up in Christ, to teach discipline, to create accountability groups and help build that community we think is crucial in the church.
