Welcome to Life Church!
When you join us at our services, you’ll meet a great mix of people from across our local area who are passionate about Jesus, caring for each other, rooted in the Bible, and as our minister Graeme likes to say, are ‘Giving it a go!’. We want the towns of Hoddesdon, Ware, Hertford and all the surrounding villages to know God better, to hear His Good News and experience His love and Holy Spirit in their lives.
Our service style is modern; we sing recent worship songs, while not afraid to dust off a hymn or two when the time is right! Our preaching comes from the Bible, however uncomfortable that sometimes is, we have children’s ministries at our Hoddesdon services and share refreshments after our services.
Questions & Answers
Is Childcare Provided?
At our Hoddesdon service, we can’t currently offer care for pre-schoolers. We have a crèche which you are welcome to use. For primary-age children we have our Limitless Kids group which you are very welcome to drop your kids off. See our Children’s & Youth ministries page for more info.
Do Youth Meet Sundays?
Our Limitless Youth meet together most Sundays at our Hoddesdon service, though occasionally they are invited to stay in throughout. See our page on Children’s & Youth ministries for more information.
What Should I Wear?
We would like you to dress as you feel comfortable. Some like to dress up, some come in jeans and a t-shirt. In the summer, you’ll even see a few knees! We think it’s more important that you’re with us and ready to worship God than how you dress.
Do I need to Check in?
No - though we do require our Limitless Kids to be signed in.
What about accessibility?
Both our venues have priority car parking spaces, are accessible to wheelchairs and have hearing loops installed. We welcome neuro-diversity in our services as well. If you’ve any queries beforehand, please contact us.
Where Should I Park?
We’ve a good amount of space at Hoddesdon Methodist Church, but if you’re running late, you might have to park out on the street. There are two accessible spaces in the car park.
Do You Meet During the Week?
Yes - we have regular Discipleship Hubs (small groups) and prayer meetings throughout the school term as well as additional celebrations and other ministry meetings.
